Video Segments of Belgium Win and a Useful Link for Those Interested in the U17 World Cup

I have finally succeeded in my quest to find a site that offers live streaming video of the U17 World Cup for those of us that are ESPN360less and FIFATVless. If you’re trying to catch a game that isn’t available on TV (Tunisia vs. Tajikistan on Aug. 26th perhaps?) then here’s the site for you: http://www.channelsurfing.net/.

I used it last night to catch some of Syria vs. Spain and it worked perfectly. Just make sure that you have windows media player and that you use internet explorer as your browser while trying to access the video. I wish I knew about this site before the Belgium match! Speaking of Belgium… here’s extended segments of the win (not exactly what I’d call highlights because it’s practically the whole game, I think theres only 30 minutes missing or so). Our 3rd goal (about 2 minutes into the second video) is the veritable pick of the litter here: Incisive passing, fluid movement, great understanding from our forwards, and seven passes leading up to the goal. Still not as many passes as this one but me likey :) .

Don’t forget, Tunisia takes on the USA tomorrow morning in what should be an entertaining match. The US lost its first game to Tajikistan and will be going all out for a result. Let’s hope to match their urgency and book our ticket into the next round. The game will air at 3:45 am (Eastern Time) on ESPN2 for those viewing in the US. Best of luck to our boys as well as our senior side which takes on Guinea today in Rades, Tunisia (let’s see if they can emulate the inventive attacking of their younger counterparts!).
