I read an article on the BBC where Mourinho said he doesn’t see himself coaching a national team quite yet. It’s not enough day to day work with him. He likes clubs more because there’s a game every week. Plus we shouldn’t be kidding ourselves, he’s not in our price range and if he ever does coach a national side it will probably be Portugal. It is fun to dream sometimes hehe.

I have never been the biggest fan but I cant help but consider Didier Deschamps or Laurent Blanc. Pair a young coach with a good tunisian assistant and who knows.
But Mourinho… ooo el 3izz. That wont happen until his price tag drops 20 times or so

I read that too Moni but didn’t bother to talk about it because it seems so far fetched. The guy doesn’t speak French or Arabic as far as I know and it would pretty much be a disaster. We’ve already seen some of the issues arising just from some of the stuff that Lemerre says which is lost in translation. Imagine adding another layer to that. Plus Matthaus doesn’t have any real experience coaching international sides. I’d be shocked if we signed him.
