TUNISIA TRYING TO ARRANGE FRIENDLY WITH IRAQ

The BBC has a new STORY about Tunisia possibly playing Iraq as a warmup becuase the warm up game against Kuwait that i mentioned in an earlier post has been canceled due to Kuwait not bieng able to put a squad together.

Also mentioned in the article: Tunisia will play some 3rd division Swiss side in training camp. Well that is nice of them to play us but we better destroy them 6-0.

This bothers me that they are asking 3rd division sides to play them when clearly that will not really prepare them for the Quality of teams they will be facing in the World cup. I mean at least play a first division team. Even play England or Something, we have to play teams in the top 20 to prepare, i mean how else can you prepare for the match with Spain and perhaps beyond (Its like preparing for your college entry exam by studying your 3rd grade grammar books). As you see, teams like Ivory Coast have already played friendlies with Spain and Italy in the past year. This surely has prepared them and they have performed well.

Bottom line is I know we are asking Kuwait and Iraq to play a friendly with us to prepare for Saudia Arabia. Well i think they should be preparing for Spain and Ukraine. If you want to go past the first round we must take points from both of those games and we need to play Portugal, France, or some other powerful European team as a warmup. Because If Tunisia can defeat or Tie Spain, we will go through to the next round with no issues.
