Tunisia starting 11 and formation

All signs point to Tunisia running a 4-5-1 formation today and trying to clog up the midfield and counterattack.

The probable starting lineup is:
GK: Boumnijel
Defence: Trabelsi. Jaidi, Hagui, Ayari
Midfield: Bouazizi, Chedli, Mnari, Nafti, Namouchi
Attack: Jaziri

Changes are Ayari in the place of Jemmali becuase though Jemmali may be a beter defender, Ayari is a natural left back. And Trabelsi is picked to play right back over Jemmali.

Nafti will play midfield in the place of Chikhaui. So Jaziri will be alone in attack. Hopefully he can get more support.

We will see however when the teams line up Lemerre has been known to pull a few surprises. Spain plays 3-4-3 if i am not mistaken.

Play hard, fellas. Hope you get a good ref, and nobody like that guy Busacca. He seemed like a Spanish-lover waiting to happen in Spain’s last game.

Small tug on Torres outside penalty box + Saved shot by goalie + Slip by Torres + Massimo Busacca = Penalty + Red Card for Defender

Terrific pace to this game. We couldn;t have asked for more from the Tunisian to take th wind out of Iberian sails and ensure that the Spaniards get a little panicky–for entertainment’s sake. Less than a shower of Spanish goals still seems unlikely though.

Great effort, Tunisia. It must have been demoralizing to see the ref so clearly taking the Spanish side. I couldn’t bear to watch the second half.

Still praying huh Miguelinho? Well they did get a fair ref….. what now? Score should have been 8-1. Even With Tunisia having all 11 in their box they couldnt stop the Furia!!!! What? Let me guess that wasnt a pk either????? lol keep Spain hating…. it seems like no one else sees what you see.

Lemerre’s plan almost worked, and I commend the heroism and skill of the Tunisian side. It is a pity Santos could not play. You are a very good team and I hope you beat Ukraine to advance. Good luck.
