Tunisia, Nigeria Headed to Penalty Kicks

February 4th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | 1 Comment »

With the score tied 1-1 after a grueling 120 minutes of football, Nigeria and Tunisia are headed to a penalty shoot out. Those with good memories will recall that Tunisia defeated Nigeria in a penalty shoot out two years ago in the semifinals of the African Nations Cup. Fingers crossed that the result will be the same this year. A shame it has to end this way since neither side deserves to lose.

Oh well, what a dramatic penalty shoot out. I thought when it went to penalties it was a lottery. Well done to the Nigerians for just edging it.
