Tunisia Looks the Get Friendly
The Carthage Eagles are hoping to arrange three friendlies in the two weeks prior to the World Cup. Tunisian Football Federation officials have said that they are having talks with Croatia, the United States and Iran - all three teams are World Cup qualifiers. They are looking at an away match on May 27, a game at home in Tunis on June 2 or 3 and a meeting with the Iranians in Germany on June 7.
If Tunisia does play this schedule, I think it will prepare us very well. Croatia plays similiar to Ukraine. The US is a bit like Spain and Iran should help the team prepare for Saudi Arabia. Hopefully these friendlies will get squarred away soon so that coach Lemerre and the team can focus all of their attention of getting reading for the World Cup.
