As the players all said, we missed Santos today. This game was just way too much for me. It was a rollercoster ride and I wasn’t ready for it. I thought that after our first goal we would settle down and play our game but instead we played right into the Saudis hands. The penalty that wasn’t called was unfortunate and if there hadn’t been the Jaidi header I would definitely feel more bitter about it. Overall, I gotta say that I’m dissapointed in the team. I think we just shot ourselves in the foot. A good result against Spain was always going to be hard to achieve but after seeing them today I dont think we can manage one at all. Its not that I dont have faith, I just have to be realistic. Especially after giving away our most winnable game of the group stage. I see us losing against Spain and then having to beat a Ukraine side that will have taken out its anger on the Saudi team. They will be confident and we will have to be ready for that. If this is in fact our year, we will have to earn it the hard way. Ps. I didn’t like Jemmali in left back. Our first goal could have been avoided.

Congratulations coming back to tie in the 90th minute. Dramatic stuff. Unfortunately, you now must beat Ukraine to advance – because you have no chance to beat Spain.
