I hadn't been to that site in a really long time and forgot it existed. I appreciate the reminder. I like your selections Daryl. Amazingly only one of these players is in our list for Ghana. It's #4 and he's a defender. Seif Ghezal from Etoile, he played in the club world cup and he gets up the field for corners and free kicks because he's pretty tall. I talked about him recently in one of my posts because he turned down a lucrative deal to Besiktas because they didn't want to sign him if he was going to the African Cup. Instead he'll be playing for Neuchatel in Switzerland. I guess the fact that they're francophone helped too. There's also Henri Bienvenu from Bizerte who is a Cameroonian that just had a test with Olympique Marseille. He's a goal scoring machine and he's #15 on this countdown. Not sure if he made the Cameroon squad though. He's only 19. Finally, he's not on the list for us but there's been a huge clamor to include him and that's #1 on the countdown, Youssef Mouihbi. That goal (and others) actually earned him a deal with the club he scored it against, Club Africain. He's in the expanded list and could replace someone if an injury occurs. If Cape Verde had a team going to Ghana you can bet Gilson Silva #15 would be on their squad. We've given some thought to naturalizing him actually. He's married to a Tunisian girl (a good looking one too from what I hear) and he converted to Islam.
