Bman, thanks for starting things off!

Sam, your comment had me cracking up dude! It didn't cross my mind at the time but now that I take a second look I see what you mean ;)

Hatim, thanks a lot for that link man. I hadn't been to that site in a really long time and forgot it existed. I appreciate the reminder.

I like your selections Daryl. Amazingly only one of these players is in our list for Ghana. It's #4 and he's a defender. Seif Ghezal from Etoile, he played in the club world cup and he gets up the field for corners and free kicks because he's pretty tall. I talked about him recently in one of my posts because he turned down a lucrative deal to Besiktas because they didn't want to sign him if he was going to the African Cup. Instead he'll be playing for Neuchatel in Switzerland. I guess the fact that they're francophone helped too.

There's also Henri Bienvenu from Bizerte who is a Cameroonian that just had a test with Olympique Marseille. He's a goal scoring machine and he's #15 on this countdown. Not sure if he made the Cameroon squad though. He's only 19. Finally, he's not on the list for us but there's been a huge clamor to include him and that's #1 on the countdown, Youssef Mouihbi. That goal (and others) actually earned him a deal with the club he scored it against, Club Africain. He's in the expanded list and could replace someone if an injury occurs.

If Cape Verde had a team going to Ghana you can bet Gilson Silva #15 would be on their squad. We've given some thought to naturalizing him actually. He's married to a Tunisian girl (a good looking one too from what I hear) and he converted to Islam. He's the guy who nutmegged a Boca Juniors player in the Club World cup in the last minute...

So the short answer was only one but I couldn't help but expound a little :)

Loving:
20 (Bergkamp?)
19 (fluid)
17 (the way he sells the keeper)
12 (unstoppable)
6 (does anyone else think he made that look a lot easier than it was?)
3 (which looks borderline impossible)
1 (just because)

Will any of those 20 guys be at the African Cup of Nations, playing for Tunisia or anyone else?

I thought 12 and 3 were the best.

Tunisia has placed 22nd in the world for the strongest league by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics for 2007. Not bad I guess. I think we should be ranked higher though. http://www.iffhs.de/?b6e28fa3002f71504e52d17f7370eff3702bb1c2bb11

Holy fucking crap. Those were all nuts. Also, am I the only one who thinks the three analysts resemble Tunisian versions of Didier Deschamps, Guy Roux and Guy Lacombe (l-r)?
