Simply Fantastic News

I had just written a Goal.com editorial piece about Yassine Chikhaoui and it was all doom and gloom. As soon as I finished writing, this article comes through on my google alerts and changes everything!

Yassine Chikhaoui’s knee is structurally sound and the patella tendon has healed perfectly! The problem he was suffering from was caused by excess scarring which resulted in a painful nerve irritation.

The FC Barcelona medical staff performed a simple procedure and will reevaluate in four weeks. And the best part…. “the doctors are confident that Yassine Chikhaoui will soon be fully operational.”

Thank you Barca! I need to rewrite my story for Goal.com now… I can’t tell you how happy this news makes me. Just imagine the maestro back on the pitch. With him pulling the strings in midfield we’re gonna be magic. Humberto Coelho is gonna love this kid…

Deportivo La Corona has just confirmed that they have accepted Lassad Nouioui to be called up for the Tunisia-Kenya Match. I am really happy to see this and hope to see him play at least 45 minutes. http://www.infosfoot.net/fr/articles/article.php?id_article=1678

it really pissed me off that tunisia isn’t in 08 or 09. they put in these shit teams like northern ireland and china and they leave out the biggest african teams. its nonsense, how many world cups in a row do we have to qualify for to get in the game. and even if they do put us in the game you can bet they’ll give us like a three star rating. in 09 the best tunisian player is haggui and hes like a 74, everyone else is in the 60s…whackness.hopefully by fifa 2011 we’ll have players in big clubs and we’ll get some respect.

Thanks Moni :) There’s a new article coming tomorrow on Tunisia’s goalkeeping crisis. It’s not as comprehensive as I would have liked but I hope you guys like it anyways.

Thamer, I’m with you on Fifa man. So annoying we’re not in it. I used to be a pure pro evo guy and then I gave fifa a chance and I kinda like both for different reasons. This debate could go on a while though! In fifa you can do things with the ball that you just cant in pro evo.

Sa7li, good looking on the patch!!!!

Sorry for the lack of articles recently, I’m working on a post right now. My goal.com writing is tiring me out but I’mma try to stay active I promise.
