Jemaa Santos

          Belaid Ben Saada

Still looks like they should beat Burkina Faso, lets just hope our defense and our goalkeeper are in good shape and dont make mistakes.

Skander, I'm still disgusted about the Chermiti injury. It ruined my whole day yesterday and I'm still really really really upset about it. We always lose our best players right before big matches! Santos in the world cup, Chikhaoui for qualifiers, Namouchi who just came back, and now Chermiti who is our most in form attacker at the moment and who scored in our last game is out. Such bad luck!!!

I was planning a post about Chikhaoui but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Rumor is Marseille still has hopes of nabbing him before the transfer window closes but there's been little to no news about him lately so it's hard to know for sure.

Rabbi yostor for our next match. We really just took a huge blow with Chermiti's injury. We can still win without him but there's no overstating his importance in our general scheme. His speed is irreplaceable. Plus he's out for like 2 months or more and will almost certainly miss out on that highly publicized France friendly in Paris. So sad for him. The only thing one can take solace in is that he hasn't had a vacation in 2 years so maybe spending Ramadan in Tunisia with his family will be good for his mind and body. He's young but he's not a machine. I wish him a full recuperation. No use rushing back. Hertha places a lot of hopes in him and will make sure he recovers fully before subjecting him to the rigors of the bundesliga. Rabbi yeshfih inshallah.

Now we have to start thinking about who takes his place on the field. He played out on the left in our last game which was unusual for him. Not sure if Chawki or Belaid would do good on that side but one of them might have to take his place there.

And RAMI, is there anything new about Chikahoui, just something. I would be pleased if you could post something about it, a comment or a bigger post

Rami you can check out the links that i've posted. It's in english and his coach Lucien Favre has said his opinion on that. Now Hertha will have too make okoronkwo stay in the club. Lucien's plans was to play with Pantelic-Chermiti in the attack, he said so. Now they'll have to opt too their old tactics 4-5-1.i wanted to see him play so badly!

Hello!. i’ve got some BAAAD news. I think some of you already knows. Chermiti had to be taken off the pitch just after 11 minutes against Ljubljana in the Uefa cup - qualifiers. HE HAS SUFFERED A KNEE LIGAMENT DAMAGE and he’ll be out for 8-10 WEEEKS. You can read it in GOAL.com

yeah Rami, Chermiti is kind of screwed. The trouble seems to be with his patellar tendon. It's not as serious as a cruciate ligament injury, but it's enough to put him out for 10 weeks. He'll undergo another test tomorrow to see if his cruciate ligaments are OK though. Let's hope for the best ! We sure are unlucky : first Namouchi, now Chermiti !

It used to be that journalists complain about not having sufficient and in certain cases any access to the NT coaching staff. Now, Coelho is wondering why no one seems to care. Very interesting! But seriously, I'd like to ask a queston that was raised in Assabah today: what is the point of Coelho announcing a preliminary list of 30 players only to have it trimmed downto 23 just 48 hours later with no training sessions in between to decide whom to keep? What is the wisdom for this approach?

Very disappointed Nafkha did not make the cut because he's been doing great lately, and as Rami indicated, I definitely would choose him over Traoui. But, it seems if you play in Europe, you're king!

wow... how embarrassing! I’m glad he brought that up to all those journalists. I remember going to Argentina training sessions leading up to the world cup in 2006 and the stadium would be jam packed with people chanting and on the field there would be a massive crowd of journalists and photographers. That is how a team knows they have to win.
