Mehdi Nafti interview

Mehdi Nafti
I love Mehdi Nafti. He worked tirelessly day and night to return to form for the world cup after a horrific knee injury. He is a person that plays with intensity and he does not give up. He has desire. He will not allow himself to be on the field without giving maximum effort. All players should be like this. For those of you who speak French, here is a few interviews of Mehdi Nafti, including an interview conducted in the last few days looking forward to the match against Spain.

I am begining to get hyped up. Midfielder Hamed Namouchi had the following to say

“We are not scared of Spain - we are only scared of God. In a competition like this anything can happen.”

Tunisia play with no fear of Spain, though I do admit they have much respect for Spain as Mehdi Nafti said: “It will be difficult (against Spain). The opposition is of a higher caliber than Saudi Arabia. But first of all we have to take a look at ourselves. It’s up to us to show a different face to the one we showed.”

That is the best way to play in Sports, to have respect for an opponent but never to fear the opponent. Any Tunisians out there or World cup fans, feel free to comment we would love to hear your opinions
