found this pretty cool compilation of wajdi bouazzi. might not be that interesting to non-est fans but hes very talented, under rated though, with all the other stars on his team, a bit like the iniesta of esperance.

Bouazzi has earned his chance now, what could be the reason we haven’t given him that chance yet?

Do we have that many mids?

Also i noticed that at important matches with EST (wich i’ve seen) he’s often used as a kind of ” supersub “.
Does that mean he is not a regular starter with Taraji?

he does start regularly but he doesnt start every match. with either darragi or mskani out of the lineup since february, hes been starting pretty much every game but when both of them are healthy, the open slot is for him or ayari. i prefer ayari to start so he can get better since hes still young, but bouazzi would be a star on almost any other african team.

Yea Tounsi he didn’t play, guess they couldn’t risk him making any mistakes…look how that turned out lol :D

Last i heard they had 2 LB’s (without A.A) and one was injured, i guess they have 3 healthy LB’s now, a shame that 2 out of 3 are horrible (according to the Werder Fanbase) he’ll be playing more and more, and he’ll keep learning a lot and eventually grow to be a starter on their squad and maybe even on the NT

Tounsi,
Abdennour didnt play against Valencia or in the bundesliga game before because Parsanen is now back from his injury . the other LB Boenisch is still injured and he is mostly to be the starter when he is back.
and from what I hear here and saw myself I dont think Abdennour will have a chance bei werder. he does not have the quality. and in the Sport shows here he was always been said as the weackest link in werder team in those games he played.
In that game Rosenberg was subbed for Parsanen and Rosenberg is a striker not a LB.
I think Werder Bremen is a number too big for Abdennour.

Werder went today with almost a B team to the game, giving the players rest for the german cup game on Tuesday.
Boenisch also played as a RB ( looks like he is not injured anymore and Fritz the actual RB got to rest).
Abdennour did not play. I think the only possibility that he will get his chance again is if both LB get again injured.

Abdennour is 20 and has never played in a european team so to say he has no chance is just unfair, ofcourse he’s the most unexperienced player they have, but why would they get him there if he didnt show a lot of potential, there are enough lb’s in europe that also have potential, but they went out of their way to scout him in another continent?

Just give him time and he’ll learn a lot from a great team like Werder, we’ll see at the end of the season if they keep him or not.

did anyone watch the est match? ive never seen a team miss so many chances in a game before, it should have finished at least 8-1. Should have, not could have. roger ayari and msakni all missed easy 1v1s and eneramo missed a penalty…whack.

I think Chikhaoui’s game isn’t televised again :( Thamer, I didn’t see EST but saw the highlights. Crazy amount of chances indeed but I think the three goal cushion will do so long as the players don’t play like they have one.

I’m more concerned about Club Africain, not just cuz they’re my team but cuz their situation is much more delicate and I want both Tunisian representatives advancing. Pulling out a 1-1 draw while having to play 9 against 11 for about 70 minutes is indicative of the team’s heart but I wish they’d be smarter and avoid cards also. Always making it harder on ourselves. Even Traore, who scored the goal, should know better than taking his shirt off after a goal. Now we’re missing him in the return leg, grrr. Playing in Tizi Ouzou is never simple but I really think we can get the result if we play smarter and convert our chances. Hoping for the best but also very nervous considering the circumstances (players we’ll be missing) and our history of making things much harder on ourselves by missing the gifts opposing teams give us.

Woa, and this link says he’s starting (press “afficher les compositions”)!! Damn, now it sucks a lot more we can’t watch it! I hope Challandes isn’t taking too big a risk. I really wasn’t expecting that.

He’s having an incredible game apparently. Lots of dribbles, accelerations, and created Alphonse’s opener :D

Taken out in the 56th to a standing ovation. Good choice, no use pushing him harder than that on his first start this year.

I worried about him when he kicked the post in frustration of missing that goal lol. Looks like he was really up for this one. Too bad he didn’t get on the scoresheet like he wanted to but theres plenty to be thrilled about in these highlights!
