Joga Tunisio?
Look what I came across looking around Tunisie-Foot. It’s a new Tunisie Telecom commercial starring our football team and the national handball team. Pretty nice idea considering one is on its way to the African Cup in Ghana while the other will be defending its continental title in the semi finals in Angola tomorrow versus the Algerian squad. The fact that it’s in an airport makes it overwhelmingly reminiscent of this classic nike ad that used to have me mesmerized. If you’re gonna follow anyone’s example, it may as well be the Brazilians right? So it’s not super original but I like it nevertheless because they put their own spin on it by adding handball into the equation and executed their idea quite impressively. Plus, I can’t help but enjoy this as it features none other than my home airport of Tunis-Carthage. Although I think my dude Massaer is right, the lighting could have been better…
Transfer News
Salah Mzali just inked a three and half year deal with Esperance Sportive de Tunis. Henri Bienvenu of CAB might soon be joining him in the “blood and gold” jersey. The former giants of Tunisian football are making some interesting moves that should see them become more competitive during the rest of the season.
Another Cabiste who is on the move is Souhail Ben Radhia who just signed a three year contract Etoile du Sahel as a replacement for the outgoing Saber Ben Fraj.

Beside that I’m really angry because all african teams have get their last preparation match and not Tunisia!. the team really needs a match… Angola played 3-3 against Egypt. Scaring mate and Senegal played Namibia 3-1. I hope the teams confidence is on the top.

Tunisia just won 5 – 0 against a lowly tunisian side EOGK. The scorers were Chermiti (2), Ben Dhifalla (2), and Traoui (pen), all from Etoile. Tommorow they will play Hammam Sousse, another lowly Tunisian side, due to Iran cancelling their friendly.

Sorry for not reporting on the game yesterday guys. Been having a really busy week at work. From what I read and heard on the radio Chermiti had a very good game and he brought more than goals to the table. Our boys are playing their second game right now. I’m guessing its what will be the starting 11 in our game against Ghana. So far we’re up 2-0 with goals from Chikhaoui and Santos. We need th roadrunner (Santo’s nickname for those that don’t know) to get some confidence and maybe this goal will help. Would have been better against Iran though…

Rami! I know you’re pretty excited about the game next wednesday but last time I checked you guys were playing Senegal.
I know the closer you get to the game the more shook you’ll be but still.

I dont know about anyone Tunsisian fans fearing Senegal or being shook, Tunisia, can and has beat basically every team on the Continent at one time or other. Can they do it this time, well see.

So we’re talking smack now! haha, yo Mass, check our record against Senegal. I think I’ve shared it with you before. I’m not saying it means we’ll beat you but trust me, you don’t come in with a mental advantage. It’s 50 50 right now and I’ll take our rock solid defensive mentality over your porous defense any day
If Santos the roadrunner (beep beep!) has a good game you guys are done for. Cuz I KNOW Chikhaoui is going to bring it. Enjoy the game my friend and may the best team win.

It was a b$#%^h to find this info but : Senegal last got the better of Tunisia in 1989. Since then, in seven match-ups, Tunisia have won five with two drawn.
But that doesnt matter. Victory must be had on wendesday!

Yo rami! i was not even talking smack. In your comment, you said “I’m guessing its what will be the starting 11 in our game against Ghana”. So I was just reminding you that you guys were playing us and not Ghana.
BUt when it comes to talking smack I think both of us have kept it pretty low. We’ve known for three months, I’m not gonna talk shit three days before it. I told you my stance on that game. First of all it’s going to be shitty quality-wise and any team can win it.
But hey, if you guys come too confident like my dude Bman over here, it’ll be a pleasure to hand you guys your asses once we’re done with it.
Salut!

lol, you’re hilarious. i totally misunderstood what you wrote then. ur right it was a clerical mistake. both teams are gonnna need some time to settle into the match thats for sure. the nerves will be high so yea quality wise it won’t be much and we’ll see some flashes of brilliance here and there.
