It’s a Shame They Won’t be at the Olympics
That’s exactly what everyone is saying after watching our Olympic squad beat Holland, the Euro champs, 3-1 and then pull off a favorable away result in Lybia (1-1). You’ll remember that we were disqualified from the Olympic qualifiers by lowly Botswana months ago. I still don’t comprehend how that happened, especially since we dominated both fixtures and had ample chances to seal our place in Beijing. Add to that the fact that Yassine Chikhaoui joined for the away trip and it really gets to be mind boggling. But enough with that, what’s done is done.
Now these youngsters have a new task at hand and it is undoubtedly to win the African Cup for Domestic players. Views are split on this new tournament and you only need to guess what side the Clubs are on. Some see it as a useless competition with an already crowded fixture list coupled with a fear of wear and tear on the players bodies. Others think it’s a great idea that will help uncover new talent for the first teams of each respective country.
Whatever your stance, the tournament is still on and with our youth talent we intend to lift the title as a consolation for the lost chance at the Olympics and the other African Cup which was cut short. Qualification isn’t yet certain but we’re halfway there with an away goal to our name versus our Lybian neighbors. Next game is in Tunis on Sunday April 13th. Check out Youssef Mouihbi’s classy finish below. He’ll soon make the shift from Olympic team to Senior National Team if he keeps this up.

Yo Rami , the dutch team is not the U-21 team with the players that where Eurochamps, the dutch team is a “Belofte elftal” what means is a Prommising Squad.
Yet there where players from Ajax and other prommising top players from dutch ere divisie.

I wouldnt worry too much. I think a lot of teams will end up boycotting anyways, souring any result.
