Issam Jomaa out, Chaouki Ben Saada in

It is always tragic when a players world cup dreams are dashed. Hopefully there will be more opportunities in the future for Issam Jomaa. He had a scan which showed damage to his knee and he was ruled out of Germany 2006 . In his place Tunisia have called uppon Chouki Ben Saada who plays for Bastia in France.

Ben Saada was born in France with Tunisian parents. He won the world youth championship playing for France at under 17 level in 2001. Since then, Ben Saada has changed to Tunisian nationality and has played for Tunisia about a dozen times, including the 2005 confederations cup.
