Humberto Coelho Speaks…
Here’s a video segment with some thoughts from players and coaches regarding the appointment of Humberto Coelho. Then the man himself gives his first exclusive interview to TV7. No earth shattering remarks here. Just the usual “I’m happy to be here and excited for the challenge in this football loving country.” It’s interesting he doesn’t want to comment on the current failings of the national team out of respect for Roger Lemerre. Does that mean he’s none too pleased with results or the style of play? If Infosfoot is correct, he’ll be in the Seychelles with Tahar Sioud to watch us play on Saturday.
I’m disappointed to see the mustache is in fact gone. It’s really too bad. Made him look uber Portuguese. They have a rich tradition going in that department. Come on buddy, grow it back! Just playing, all we ask is that you give us our team back. Give us a team we can be proud of. A team that will unite our country around it rather than divide it further. And pray with us that Lemerde doesn’t screw us any more than he already has.

I think Coelho is perfect for the National Team.
I hope that we will get to the 2010 WC with him.
Rami, take a look at this:

Very interesting Yassine. It explains why we haven’t fired him. I read something similar on tunisie foot but didn’t know he would get that much of his salary reimbursed. FIFA goes as far as to say we sacked him temporarily (after his press conference following the loss to Burkina Faso) and then reinstated him…

That junior tournament you posted about Rami began yesterday and Tunisia played Morocco. We won 1-0, goal scored by Mosaab Sassi.
El 3a9ba lel senior.

Thanks so much for the update buddy. If I can find highlights I’ll definitely post about it. I love Sassi. He’s gonna give you guys some good years at Etoile
And he already scored a goal for the seniors in that champions league match where you crushed that team 5-0 in Sousse! Rabbi ewaslou inshallah.
