Dos Santos Gets His Props
We’ve been singing the praise of Tunisia striker Francileudo Silva dos Santos for months now and it appears that other people are starting to catch on.
Four goals in one qualifying game would be evidence enough of his talent, were it not for the fact that the game was against Malawi. However, at last summer’s Confederations Cup he scored twice in a 2-0 win over Australia, while at the 2004 African Nations Cup he was an integral part of the title winning team. 13 goals in 18 caps is a marvelous return and if Tunisia are to grace the latter stages in Germany, the boy from Brazil needs to be in form.
